Returns & Refunds
We hope you enjoy your I Want That Present purchases, but should you need to return an item we offer a no quibble returns policy
We will refund or replace any items that you are not completely satisfied with, within 14 days of receipt. Please inspect your purchases immediately upon receipt and contact us via email: email@example.com. In the event of damage caused by shipping, the delivery company may require an inspection, so please retain all packing materials.
Returned merchandise must be in the condition sold with original packaging and any tags intact. Goods must be unused, unopened, in perfect condition and remain in a re-saleable condition. We regret that we cannot accept returns for goods that are not in perfect condition. We cannot accept the return of items which have been dismantled, used or soiled. Please make sure that your return is well packed (use the packaging the products were sent in if possible).
We will not be liable for the cost of shipping/handling returned goods, except where the goods are faulty. Shipping charges are not refundable except where the goods are faulty. Your statutory rights are not affected.
We do not offer exchange of goods, but you are free to place a new order for a preferred item, safe in the knowledge that we will refund you for any returned items. If you wish to replace your returned items for a different item, we will process your new order as quickly as we can.
Items that cannot be returned
PLEASE NOTE: we do not offer refunds on Personalised Products unless there has been an error on our part, or the item you purchased is defective, we cannot accept Returns on ‘Personalised’ items, as these cannot be sold to anyone else.
Once an order has been placed it can only be cancelled if done immediately. If you make a mistake on the order please contact us and we will always try and stop the order, but this may not always be possible. So please double check everything when ordering a personalised gift.
How do I return a FAULTY item?
Should you be sent a faulty item, we will of course reimburse you fully. Please send an email request to firstname.lastname@example.org with the words FAULTY RETURN in the subject line. We will then send you a link for our Royal Mail Tracked Return service. Simply follow the link and print your label. Then take your parcel to your local Post Office.
How do I return an UNWANTED item?
f you wish to return an unwanted item, please send an email request to email@example.com with the words UNWANTED RETURN in the subject line. We will then send you a link for our Royal Mail Tracked Return service. Simply follow the link and print your label. Then take your parcel to your local Post Office. The cost of this service is £3.50 and will be deducted from your refund. Alternatively you can choose to send back the item using your own tracked courier or Royal Mail.
Is there a charge to make a return?
We do not offer free returns, however we do have several ways for you to return your item to us. We have negotiated a very competitive rate with Royal Mail Tracked Returns. This allows us to offer an affordable returns service for all of our customers which includes tracking and insurance. The cost is £3.50. Refunds will be processed within 7 days of receiving the goods back from you and made by your original payment method. When returning goods on which you have received a discount/offer, that discount/offer will no longer apply if you fall below the discount/offer threshold.
Refunds for items not Delivered
We do not refund until the full amount of time Royal Mail gives for an item to be delivered has elapsed.
Standard Mail should be delivered within 2-3 days. The Royal Mail's policy states the item is classed as missing 14 days after the due date. Before this date it can still be delivered. We will only refund after the 14 days have elapsed
Tracked 24 Mail should be delivered within 1-2 days. The Royal Mail's policy states the item is classed as missing 10 days after the due date. Before this date it can still be delivered. We will only refund after the 10 days have elapsed
If there is a dispute - ie. Your item says it has been delivered on the Royal Mail website but you say it has not, then we will not give a refund until Royal Mail have investigated the matter. If it is a personalised gift we will investigate and send another but we do not refund personalised gifts.
Clearpay returns follow our standard return process.
Please note, refunds for Clearpay will be refunded from iwantthatpresent.co.uk to Clearpay.
We cannot provide an exchange or cash refund. As soon as the refund is processed it will drop into your Clearpay online account.
