Refund policy

We will refund or replace any items that you are not completely satisfied with, within 14 days of receipt. Please inspect your purchases immediately upon receipt and contact us via email: hello.iwtg@gmail.com. In the event of damage caused by shipping, the delivery company may require an inspection, so please retain all packing materials. 

Returned merchandise must be in the condition sold with original packaging and any tags intact. Goods must be unused, unopened, in perfect condition and remain in a re-saleable condition. We regret that we cannot accept returns for goods that are not in perfect condition. We cannot accept the return of items which have been dismantled, used or soiled. Please make sure that your return is well packed (use the packaging the products were sent in if possible).

We will not be liable for the cost of shipping/handling returned goods, except where the goods are faulty. We reserve the right to charge a 10% restocking fee. Shipping charges are not refundable except where the goods are faulty. Your statutory rights are not affected.

Once we have agreed the return, you must return the items to us within 10 days to receive a refund. 

Items not collected or refused by customer

We now use DPD as our courier service, which allows you to change your delivery date and time for your convenience. If you won’t be available to receive your parcel, you must update your delivery preferences. Failure to do so may result in the parcel being returned to us, in which case a return charge will apply. This will be deducted from your refund

Exchanges

We do not offer exchange of goods, but you are free to place a new order for a preferred item, safe in the knowledge that we will refund you for any returned items. If you wish to replace your returned items for a different item, we will process your new order as quickly as we can.

Items that cannot be returned

PLEASE NOTE: we do not offer refunds on Personalised Products unless there has been an error on our part, or the item you purchased is defective, we cannot accept Returns on ‘Personalised’ items, as these cannot be sold to anyone else.  

Once an order has been placed it can only be cancelled if done immediately. If you make a mistake on the order please contact us and we will always try and stop the order, but this may not always be possible. So please double check everything when ordering a personalised gift.

How do I return a FAULTY item?

Should you be sent a faulty item, we will of course reimburse you fully. Please send an email request to hello.iwtg@gmail.com with the words FAULTY RETURN in the subject line. We will then send you a link for our Royal Mail Tracked Return service. Simply follow the link and print your label. Then take your parcel to your localv Post Office. We will refund postage costs up to the standard postage rate. If express postage was purchased, only the standard postage amount will be refunded. 

How do I return an UNWANTED item?

If you wish to return an unwanted item, please send an email request to hello.iwtg@gmail.com with the words UNWANTED RETURN in the subject line. Or go to your account and request a return. 

Refunds

Refunds will be processed within 7 days of receiving the goods back from you and made by your original payment method. When returning goods on which you have received a discount/offer, that discount/offer will no longer apply if you fall below the discount/offer threshold.

Refunds for items NOT delivered by courier

We do not refund until the full amount of time each Courier gives for an item to be delivered has elapsed. 

Royal Mail parcels should be delivered within 3-5 days.  The Royal Mail's policy states the item is classed as missing 14 days after the due date. Before this date it can still be delivered.  After 14 days have lapsed and if there is not a dispute about delivery we will refund you.

If there is a dispute -  ie.  The tracking says your parcel  has been delivered and you dispute this,  then we will investigate this for you, we cannot issue a refund until we get a decision from our shipping partners.

If your order has NOT arrived this must be reported to us as soon as possible but within 14 days of placing your order, so that we can investigate. 

If the item has been delivered to a safeplace and stolen then we will need you to report this to the police and obtain a Police Crime Reference number before we can go further.

If it is a personalised gift we will investigate and send another but we do not refund personalised gifts.

Refunds for Pre-order items

Once you have placed your pre-order, you have a 14 day cooling-off period to cancel your order. After 14 days the order cannot be cancelled but you can amend your order by adding or changing items as many times as you wish, simply email us with your changes and we will amend your order. If you wish to return items after they have been shipped, you have 14 days to return them to us, we will then issue a gift card for the value of the items returned.

All products in a Pre-order will be sent in one shipment, they will not be shipped separately unless you wish to pay for extra postage.  Please do not mix pre-order and in stock items if you need the in stock items now.

Clearpay & Klarna refunds

Clearpay returns follow our standard return process. 
Please note, refunds for Clearpay, Klarna will be refunded from iwantthatpresent.co.uk back to each buy now pay later partner..
We cannot provide an exchange or cash refund. As soon as the refund is processed it will drop into your online account.
